Social Media Teases John Legend After His “21 Questions” Performance With 50 Cent

Legend was celebrating his 45th birthday in New York City.

John Legend found himself at the center of online banter after a video surfaced of him taking on Nate Dogg’s role in “21 Questions” during a performance with 50 Cent.

Last Thursday, the singer celebrated his 45th birthday in New York City, with 50 Cent as the guest performer. During the show, 50 Cent delivered his hit “21 Questions,” and John Legend decided to join him, covering Nate Dogg’s iconic chorus.

While the live audience enjoyed the moment, social media took a different tone, with many users finding humor in Legend’s rendition. Some suggested that Legend, though giving his best effort, might have just sat back and enjoyed the performance like everyone else.

“He made it sound like a negro spiritual,” remarked one individual. Another questioned, “Why would John Legend get on stage and sing with 50 cent like that ????”

A third person humorously expressed, “Bruh, the video of John Legend and 50 cent really brings me to tears.”

Ahead of his performance with 50 Cent, John Legend shared a birthday dinner with his wife, Chrissy Teigen, in New York City. The couple made a stylish entrance, donning matching all-black outfits for their night out at The Polo Bar, the restaurant owned by Ralph Lauren.
