21 Savage Drops His First Solo Album in Six Years “American Dream”

The Highly Anticipated Album Is FINALLY here!

After a six-year hiatus, 21 Savage makes a powerful return with his latest solo studio project, “american dream.” Spanning 50 minutes across 15 tracks, this album is not just a musical endeavor; it also serves as the soundtrack for 21 Savage’s debut film of the same name.

Featuring a star-studded lineup, the album boasts collaborations with notable artists. Doja Cat joins forces on “n.h.i.e.,” Young Thug and Metro Boomin contribute to “pop ur shit,” Lil Durk features on “dangerous,” Travis Scott on “née-nah,” and Burna Boy on “just like me.” Other collaborations include Summer Walker on “prove it,” Brent Faiyaz on “should’ve worn a bonnet,” and Mariah The Scientist on “dark days.”

In the six years since his last solo release, “i am > i was” in 2018, 21 Savage has undergone significant growth, both personally and artistically. “american dream” acts as a narrative journey, shedding light on his triumphs and struggles, notably addressing and overcoming immigration issues. The album stands as a cohesive expression of the rapper’s story, blending stellar production with brutally honest lyricism and delivery.
